Let’s start with a question: What percentage of your day are you in vibrational harmony?
Have you ever stopped to think about this? Have you ever considered what the amount of time you are in vibrational harmony has to do with manifesting what you want—or not manifesting what you want?
“The things that we would be asking ourselves is, “What proportion of my day am I in vibrational harmony with my desires, which means, how much of my day am I happy, glad, eager, fulfilled, satisfied, complimentary? And what percentage of my day am I ornery, irritated, frustrated, or blaming?” And you don’t have to do 100%, you don’t have to do 90%, you don’t have to do 80%. If you could even get around 55% feeling better, than not feeling so good—you’d have significant movement in what begins to happen in your experience.” —Abraham
Ah, that begins to help answer the question, doesn’t it? Because while you may not have used the phrase “vibrational harmony”, you absolutely know the difference between feeling happy versus ornery, the difference between feeling fulfilled versus frustrated.
Well, Abraham is pointing out that the amount of time spent feeling one versus the other is going to have a definite and direct impact on what shows up in your life experience.
Let me share a couple useful ways to think about vibrational harmony.
One has to do with the vibration of your desire. Are you in harmony, are you in alignment with the vibration of your desire?
In other words, think about how you will feel when what you want manifests—and then ask yourself if you feel those emotions today? Because if you are feeling now how you will feel then, that is vibrational harmony.
For many of us, we are not in vibrational harmony with our desire. In other words, we are not feeling now how we will feel when we manifest X, Y, or Z. An example would be you will feel freedom when you are debt-free, but in the meantime you do not feel freedom.
Instead of vibrational harmony, there is a vibrational gap between where you now stand your desire.
“We want to show you how to go with the flow. Which means nothing more than finding vibrational harmony with your own desire, and letting the Universal Energy that your desire is summoning to it flow to it through you. It is optimum creative experience.” —Abraham
Feeling how you want to feel in advance of your manifestation is a powerful kind of vibrational harmony.
The second way to think about vibrational harmony is simply: Are you feeling good? Are you feeling high vibe emotions?
“As you seek those thoughts that feel good you will always be in vibrational harmony with the energy that is your Source and under those conditions only good can come to you and only good can come from you.” —Abraham
Your are in vibrational harmony when you feel any flavor of good.
- For instance, when you are feeling appreciation, you are in vibrational harmony.
- When you are feeling empowerment, you are in vibrational harmony.
When you manifest what you want—the job, the relationship, the house—you will feel good. We could get more specific about the exact emotion you will experience, but the point is you will feel good. Therefore, when you go ahead and feel good now, well then you are in vibrational harmony with your desire.
To recap these two ways to think about vibrational harmony:
- Are you offering the vibration now of the feeling you’ll have when what you want manifests?
- Are you feeling good?
Pretty simple, right? Vibrational harmony really is not more complicated than that.
I always consider boredom at #8 on the emotional scale to be the warning bell between being in harmony with what I want to create more of and being in disharmony with what I want to create.
For instance, If I am feeling worry or irritation, which are lower emotions on the scale, I am not in harmony with what I want to manifest. Because I certainly don’t want more that aligns with the frequency of worry and irritation. On the other hand, if I am feeling contentment or optimism, then I am in vibrational harmony.
Now, if you like getting really specific about the emotion you are experiencing and exploring until you land on the precise feeling with the exact name of the emotion, that is fantastic. I happen to like doing that sometimes.
More simply, though, is this: Do you feel good or do you feel bad?
- If you feel good, you are in vibrational harmony. And therefore attracting what you want.
- If you feel bad, you are not in vibrational harmony. And therefore attracting something you do not want.
You can use the scale of emotions numbered 1 to 22 and enjoy pinpointing exactly what you are feeling or you can simply check in with yourself and notice whether you feel good or whether you feel bad. It really is that straightforward.
Now that we have a better understanding of what vibrational harmony is, let’s go back to the question: What % of your day are you actually in vibrational harmony?
Remember what Abraham said: You don’t need to strive for 100% vibrational harmony. Sure, that would be nice, but it’s not the typical human experience. Holding yourself to that standard is likely to result in disappointment and frustration.
So while you aren’t striving for 100% vibrational harmony, you are wanting to always be heading in the direction of vibrational harmony.
I think of the intention to always head in the direction of vibrational harmony as vibrational tuning. Vibrational tuning is something you want be doing all day long.
It’s not like when you’re on a diet, eat a piece of cake after lunch, and decide it doesn’t matter what you eat the rest of the day because you’ve already blown it. You don’t quote-unquote “blow it” by getting out of alignment. Don’t just call it a day when you find you are not in vibrational harmony.
Instead, when you realize you are not feeling good, you want to tune yourself up right then and there. If an hour later you find yourself out of alignment, you want to tune yourself up again. And again and again.
This is not one and done. It’s not all or nothing.
Vibrational tuning is about always reaching for thoughts that will allow you to head in the direction of vibrational harmony.
“Just change the thought. And watch how fast the Universe scampers to deliver to you circumstances and events that are in vibrational harmony with your thought.” —Abraham
Hear this loud and clear: It’s OK to be out of alignment. It’s OK to not be experiencing vibrational harmony. But you don’t want to stay in and indulge in those low vibe emotional states. Because to do so means you are mis-creating.
I’m going to ask the question again: What percentage of your day are you in vibrational harmony?
Really think about that question. I know your answer won’t be scientific, but take a ballpark guess. Are you in vibrational harmony 50% of the time? More? Less?
It really does matter. It matters for how you feel and it matters for what you are able to manifest.
“It’s not your work to make anything happen. It’s your work to dream it and let it happen. Law of Attraction will make it happen. Vibrational harmony feels good. And vibrational harmony allows what you want to manifest.
So here’s the deal: What you think about activates a vibration within you. Will you choose thoughts that allow you to experience vibrational harmony?
“Use whatever excuse you can to vibrate in harmony with those things you’ve been saying you want. And when you do, those things that are a vibrational equivalent flow into your experience in abundance. Not because you deserve it, not because you’ve earned it, but because it’s the natural consequence of the Law of Attraction. That which is like unto itself is drawn.” —Abraham
Your desires will manifest more quickly and more easily the more time you spend in vibrational harmony.
“What I think and feel and what I get are always a match. And so, if I want something different than what I’ve been getting, I have to, somehow, generate different feelings.” —Abraham
- Will you think thoughts that cause you to feel happy, glad, eager, fulfilled, satisfied, complimentary?
- Will you think thoughts that cause you to feel ornery, irritated, frustrated, or blaming?
Will you shift, thought by thought, moment by moment, toward vibrational harmony? Will you send more of your day today in vibrational harmony? Will you catch yourself when you don’t feel good and do the thought work necessary to head toward harmony and get back in alignment?
