Alignment, Ease, Energy & Flow: Law of Attraction quotes

I think we love inspirational quotes because they remind us of who we want to be—and who we really are. They shine a light on what really matters and cut through the noise of what doesn’t.

Here are 10 sensational Law of Attraction quotes to help you take your Law of Attraction practice up a notch and become a master at manifesting.

Quote #1

“There is nothing that you cannot be, do or have; and we want to assist you in achieving that. But we love where you are right now, even if you do not, because we understand how joyful the journey to where you want to go will be.” —Abraham

I love this quote because of where it says I can go—there’s nothing I can’t be, do or have—but also because it reminds me the journey is the important thing. While the destination can be juicy—an external goal you want to achieve or shiny penny you want to acquire, it’s the getting there that matters more—that matters most.

This quote also reminds us no destination is worth a suffering slog of a journey. Any Abraham quote with the word “joy” makes me perk up and puts me on high alert because their stance on joy is my true teacher right now.

Quote #2

“Why is it taking me so long to get what I want?” It is not because you are not intelligent enough or worthy enough. The only reason you have not already gotten what you desire is because you are holding yourself in a vibrational pattern that does not match the vibration of your desire.” —Abraham

Boom! Love it! I create my own reality. All of it.

Which means I don’t blame external circumstances or bad luck when things don’t go my way. I know it’s my vibration. Now, I don’t beat myself up for being in a vibrational pattern that doesn’t match the vibration of my desire (because that would just add to momentum in the wrong direction).

So when some manifestation I want hasn’t yet materialized, it’s an opportunity to start appreciating the thing I want as if it has already manifested.

Have you been asking: Why is it taking me so long to get what I want?

If so, here’s food for thought from Abraham: “If something you want is slow to come to you, it can only be for one reason: You are spending more time focused upon its absence than you are about its presence.”

“This is an attraction-based Universe. You cannot say no. You are always saying, “Yes please, yes please, yes please” with your attention.” —Abraham

Your real work is to decide what you want and then focus on it—give your attention to it—with positive expectation and appreciation.

Quote #3

“Every subject is really two subjects: Something that you desire, and the absence of something that you desire. If you do not understand that these are very different vibrational frequencies, then you may believe that you are focused on something that you desire, when you may, in fact, be focused in the opposite direction.” —Abraham

The first time I heard this concept it blew my mind. It definitely explained why some of my attempts to manifest had gotten stuck.

Abraham refers to this as two ends of a stick. When we pick up a stick, we pick up both ends, right? What is wanted and what is unwanted.

“Most people are thinking about what they don’t want, and they’re wondering why it shows up over and over again.” —John Assaraf

A few years ago I really wanted more margin in my life. Less on my calendar. A shorter To Do list. I wanted space in my day, in my mind, in my closets. I said I wanted margin, space. Those were my words. But we don’t attract with our words. We attract with our thoughts and feelings.

My thoughts and feelings were around the LACK of margin, the absence of margin in my life. My feelings were friction and overwhelm. And so that’s what I attracted more of.

It’s only when we can be clear about what we want and then feel as if we already have it, it’s already here, that is manifests.

What about you? Are you thinking about what you don’t want and then wondering why it keeps showing up?

Quote #4

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.” —Joseph Campbell

Ah, the bliss part of this quote is classic Law of Attraction.

Bliss. Happiness. Gladness. Joy. When you are vibrating at the high end of the emotional scale, the Universe conspires with you.

When you follow your bliss, you attract the people, events, circumstances, and things at the same vibration. So when you follow your bliss, when you vibrate at the level of joy, what you want manifests. Doors open.

Quote #5

“You have the power to change anything because you are the one who chooses your thoughts and feels your feelings.” —The Secret

Simple, right? I love this quote because it’s empowering. Everyone has access to creating the life they want because everyone chooses their thoughts and feelings.

You create your own reality.

  • If you think life is hard, life is hard.
  • If you think it takes massive action to be successful, then it does.
  • If you think it’s easy to create abundance, it is.

I love this because it doesn’t say I have to get my husband to change. Or the economy. It gives me all the power—and responsibility—for my life.

Abraham says you can argue for your limitations or argue for your expansion. It’s up to you.

It’s this simple: You can choose thoughts that make you feel love and appreciation, positive expectation and happiness. In other words, emotions at the high end of the emotional scale.

Or you can choose thoughts that lead to feelings of disappointment and worry, or anger and resentment. The choice is yours. It’s not up to circumstances. It’s up to how you think about the circumstances in your life.

This quote is a reminder that you create your own reality. You choose your thoughts. You feel your feelings.

The creative power is yours. So what feelings do you want? What thoughts will you choose to think?

Quote #6

This quote comes Charles Francis Haanel’s The Master Key System, which was published in 1912. Cool fun fact: Charles was born in my adopted hometown of Ann Arbor. So I’d like to think we’re connected!

“Thoughts are causes and conditions are effects.” —Charles Francis Haanel

OK, really think about that. Because most of the time we have it exactly backwards. Exactly the opposite. We’ve been taught that conditions cause our thoughts. Circumstances cause us to feel a certain way.

Not so. Buddha says, “All that we are is a result of what we have thought.”

That’s because your thoughts are creative. You’re getting what you think about.

“Anything that you give your attention to will become your “truth.” The Law of Attraction says that it must. Your life, and everyone else’s, too, is but a reflection of the pre-dominance of your thoughts. There is no exception to this.” —Abraham

You can absolutely change your life, change your circumstances, by changing your thoughts.

Quote #7

“Be thankful for what you have, you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never have enough.” —Oprah Winfrey

Really, a simple concept. But something we often forget.

We start focusing on what we don’t have instead of appreciating what we DO have. We focus on what we don’t want, instead of what we DO want.

And by Law of Attraction, this lowered point of vibration is going to perpetuate lack and what you don’t want in your life.

So appreciation is key.

“Every time you appreciate something, every time you praise something, every time you feel good about something, you are telling the Universe: “More of this, please.” And if you are mostly in a state of appreciation, all good things will flow to you.” —Abraham

I spend every morning writing things I appreciate. Everything from cream in my coffee to my new bangs. From a safe trip to a good night’s sleep. And if I need some extra Law of Attraction mojo, I’ll do a rampage of appreciation.

So…how much appreciating have you done today?

Quote #8

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” —Einstein

Again, classic Law of Attraction.

Einstein understood that your attention to what-is only creates more of what-is. Which means you have to put your thoughts beyond what-is to attract—to create—what you want.

The Universe simply doesn’t distinguish between a thought from your observation of what’s going on around you—“reality”—and a thought brought about by your imagination. It’s all the same to the Universe.

Either way—your thought equals your point of attraction. Your imagination is a preview of your life’s coming attractions. Think about how magical that is.

So the question is: How are you using your imagination? Are you visualizing what you want?

“Whatever you are thinking about is like planning a future event. When you are appreciating, you are planning. When you are worrying, you are planning. Worrying is using your imagination to create something you do not want.” —Abraham

Ah…yikes!

Have you been using your imagination to create something you don’t want?

Quote #9

“I will see it when I believe it.” —Wayne Dyer

Again, this is the opposite of how most of us operate. Which is why, by Law of Attraction, we’re creating things in our lives, but often not the things we want, but the things we don’t want.

We say: I’ll believe in abundance when I get the raise. Or I’ll feel inspired at work when I get a new job at a different company. Or I’ll feel more loving to my partner when he changes. I’ll feel good when X, Y, and Z happens.

That’s now how Law of Attraction works. It’s not about a change in your environment or in the circumstances that surround you. It’s about you choosing your thoughts.

Charles Haanel said we need to reverse the evidence of the senses. That’s exactly what Wayne Dyer is talking about when he says, “I will see it when I believe it.”

Don’t wait for something to manifest to believe it. Believe now.

We have to think the thoughts and feel the feelings as if what we want is already here. That’s what will attract it to us. That’s when we’ll see it.

“Make your dominant intent to look for what you want to see. As you deliberately look for things to appreciate, praise or enjoy, you achieve vibrational harmony with your own Source, and with all that is good.” —Abraham

What about you? What would start to change in your life if you walked around with this as your dominant thought: I intend to see that which I want to see.

Give it a try!

Quote #10

I’m going to close with a really practical Law of Attraction quote. This one is absolutely a tool to put in your toolkit.

“The best way to overcome undesirable or negative thoughts and feelings is to cultivate the positive ones.” — William Walker Atkinson

Now, you might be saying, “Well, DUH, Jennifer. Pretty obvious.”

But here’s the thing: We so often exert this massive effort to stop negative thinking. To resist negative thoughts. And we’re often not very successful at it.

So instead of trying to stop negative thoughts, just start cultivating positive ones.

It’s a real shift in energy from fighting, resisting negativity to cultivating positivity. So if you’re in a crappy mood and seeing only things you don’t like. Don’t fight it. Don’t offer resistance. Just shift. Gently turn from the negative and focus on positive thoughts and feelings.

Ask questions like: What CAN I appreciate in this moment? What IS good? What DO I like?

“We encourage you, very strongly, not to beat up on yourself when you recognize that you are feeling negative emotion. But as soon as you can, stop and say, “I’m feeling some negative emotion, which means that I’m in the process of attracting what I don’t want. What is it that I do want?” —Abraham

I can’t tell you what a difference this has made in my life—this shift from fighting to flow.

Put your attention and focus on what you like, what you want, what you appreciate. I promise your positivity will grow if you do.

Which quote calls to you? Which Law of Attraction quote shines a light on why things are so great for you right now? Or…maybe points to why life hasn’t been so great lately.
