When you’re in alignment, you attract circumstances, people, events, and things that are vibrationally at the same frequency. In other words, you attract more good things.
That’s why alignment is so important. It’s the gateway to what you want.
I want to share three different ways for you to think about alignment.
Here’s the first way to understand alignment.
Think about emotions at the high end of the emotional scale: Joy, Empowerment, Freedom, Love, Appreciation, Enthusiasm, Eagerness, Happiness, Positive Expectation, Optimism.
Those emotions feel good, right? Alignment is a feel good state. It’s feeling happy. It’s any of those emotions on the high end of the emotional scale.
When you feel love, do you feel good? Yes! if you feel enthusiasm, do you feel good? Absolutely!
So alignment is about feeling good. And while you may have slightly different words for emotions that reflect your own feel-good state, basically we’re talking about anything that makes you feel happy.
So that’s one way to think about alignment. With the emotional scale in mind, what will you do to start your day in alignment?
Here’s the second way to think about alignment.
The second way to think about alignment comes from one of my all-time favorite Abraham quotes.
The ideal state of alignment is “satisfaction with what is and eagerness for more.” —Abraham
Satisfaction with what is and eagerness for more. Let’s unpack that.
Abraham says when you’re satisfied with where you are, it’s the perfect vibrational stance. Satisfied means you appreciate what is, you see the benefit of everything around you, you realize the perfection of where you are—and at the same, because you’re a growth-seeking Being, you are eager for more.
But when you’re not satisfied with what is, when you’re frustrated or feel a void with the present moment, you hold yourself in a vibrational pattern apart from what you want. So while you may be eager for something different in the future, your dissatisfaction with your life today will keep you from manifesting what you want.
“If we were talking to you on your first day here, we would say, ‘Welcome to planet Earth. There is nothing that you cannot be or do or have. And your work here—your lifetime career—is to seek joy. As you think thoughts that feel good to you, you will be in harmony with who-you-really-are. Seek joy first, and all of the growth that you could ever imagine will come joyously and abundantly to you.’” —Money and the Law of Attraction
As you think about this perspective on alignment: Are you satisfied with what is and eager for more?
Here’s a third way to look at alignment.
Alignment is when you’re in agreement with your Inner Being. Now, you may have a different name for the non-physical part of you. Maybe you call it Soul or Source.
Regardless, alignment is when you are in agreement with your Inner Being. Feeling good equals allowing the connection. Feeling bad equals not allowing the connection.
“The way you feel is your indication of your vibrational connection to that which is your Source. The better you feel, the better your connection; the worse you feel, the more disallowance to that connection. Nothing is more important than that you feel good—because nothing is more important than your connection to that which is your Source.” —Abraham
So you can see why alignment and feeling good are so important since feeling bad—feeling negative emotion—equals resisting the connecting to your Inner Being.
How will you get in alignment?
I’ve just shared three ways to think about alignment.
- Emotions on the high end of the emotional scale.
- Satisfaction with what is and eagerness for more.
- When you’re in agreement with your Inner Being.
Here’s the bottom line: When you’re in alignment, you are a vibrational match to what you want to manifest. To the life you really want. But there’s a catch: To be a vibrational match to what you want, you have to feel good.
Will you make feeling good a priority today? How will you get in alignment?
