Gunk of Low-Energy Living: tolerations

I’ve been thinking a great deal about tolerations lately. Those pesky things we put up with that get in the way, create friction, and drain our energy.

Specifically, I’ve been thinking about tolerations in relation to a person’s vitality.

Tolerations rob your vitality

Vitality means the capacity to live, grow, or develop. Isn’t that what we really want for ourselves?

To live. To grow. To develop.

But the average person tolerates between 500 and 1,000 things a day. Can you imagine how putting up with that much on a daily basis gets in the way of your ability to live, grow, and develop?

What about you?

  • What’s the cost of putting up with your tolerations?
  • What energy are you sacrificing?
  • What opportunities are you missing?
  • How is your effectiveness being limited and your happiness compromised?

To live your best life means tolerating less and less. To become fully who you’re meant to be can’t and won’t happen so long as tolerations consume your energy, occupy your mind, and diminish your serenity.

My challenge to you: Commit to figuring out what your tolerations are and address them one by one so you can become more of who you really are and attract more of what you really want into your life.
