You have all kinds of choices every day.
What you eat for breakfast, whether you’re a perfectionist, how friendly you are, what to wear, your degree of patience, what route you take to work, how you spend your time off, whether you stay in your current job, how much money you spend, whether you work too much, what time you go to bed, whether you watch TV, how you take care of your health, etc.
In fact, very little is not a choice. Even the things you initially think are not a choice are often the result of previous choices you’ve made.
Make conscious choices
Here’s a bit of tough love: Start choosing better and take full responsibility for the life you have.
My challenge to you: Spend a day actively thinking about conscious choice. Really notice the actions you take and the decisions you make.
Do the small and big choices you make each and every day align with your greater vision? Are they leading you toward the life you want or away from it?
