Manifesting & Deliberate Creation: creating by default

Many of us have been creating our lives by default.

And that means we get some of what we want and invariably some—maybe even a lot—of what we don’t want.

You are constantly creating. You’re doing it right now. It’s simply whether you create by default—unconsciously—or whether you create intentionally, consciously, deliberately.

“Giving thought to anything is creation; giving deliberate thought to anything is deliberate creation.” —Abraham

“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make our world.” —Buddha

Here are 6 ways you may be creating by default.

#1: When you’re only focused on what-is, you’re creating by default.

Your emotional attention to what-is will root you like a tree to this spot, but an emotional (happy) vision of what you would like to begin attracting into your experience will bring you those changes.” —Abraham

So stop paying attention only to what’s right in front of you. Start visioning about what you want your life to be like.

#2: You are creating by default if you don’t understand your creative power lies in this moment.

Law of Attraction is responding to your present-thought vibration, regardless of whether you are thinking about the past, future, or something happening now.” —Abraham

If you’re thinking about the past, you’re doing it now, and that’s creating a present moment vibration that’s attracting more of the essence of your past.

#3: Creating by default often happens because you’re focused on the lack of what you what rather than what you actually want.

“When you are thinking about your new X from a place of worrying that you cannot achieve it (or frustration that it has not yet come), you are actually focused on the absence of X and you are not allowing it into your experience.” —Abraham

To deliberately create, you have to start focusing with positive expectation on what you DO want.

#4 You might be creating by default if you don’t really know what you want.

At least half my clients originally came to coaching because they didn’t know what they wanted.

“This is the process of creating: Giving thought to what you want, so much thought, and such clear thought, that your Inner Being offers forth emotion. And as you are giving thought, with emotion, you become the most powerful of all magnets.” —Abraham

Well, you can’t become a powerful magnet for what you want if you don’t really know what that is.

Here’s a helpful tip. It sounds really simple, but it’s powerful. Make the statement: I want to know what I want. Declare this as your intent. It’s a powerful first step in gaining clarity about what you really want.

#5 Not feeling good is another reason you are creating by default.

“Negative emotion exists only when you are miscreating. And so, when you recognize that you are feeling negative emotion—no matter why, no matter how it got there, no matter what the situation is—stop doing whatever is is that you are doing and focus your thoughts on something that feels better.” —Abraham

Finding better-feeling thoughts and climbing up the emotional scale will allow you to start creating deliberately.

#6: Trying to create only through action means you’re very likely creating by default.

Many of us have been taking massive action trying to get what we want. Efforting, struggling, marking endless items off a To Do list.

“Rather than being so ready to jump into action to get the things that you want, we say think them into being; see them, visualize them, and expect them—and they will be. And you will be guided, inspired, or led to the perfect action that will bring about the process that will lead you to that which you seek.” —Abraham

I think we can all agree that to create deliberately sounds a whole lot better than creating by default. Rather than settling for a crap shoot, you can actually manifest the life you really want.

Abraham says: “No one creates in your experience. You are doing it all; you get all of the credit.”

I would say: You get all the credit. AND all the responsibility. Are you ready to stop settling for a hodgepodge of results in your life and become a deliberate creator?
